Convert Files to PDF's
1. Start Acrobat
2. Click the File Menu, click Create PDF, and click From File.
or
     
Click Create PDF on the Tasks toolbar, and click From File.
3. In the Open dialog box, click the "Look in" down arrow, and click the drive and folder where your file is located; or use the shortcut buttons on the left side of the dialog box. Open any subfolders. Click the Files Type down arrow, and select the applicable file type to narrow the files displayed. Select the file you want to convert and click Open.
4. Save the PDF either before or after making any changes
       
Create a PDF from Multiple Files  
1. Start Acrobat
     
2. Click the File Menu, click Create PDF, and click From Multiple Files
3. In the Create PDF from multiple document window, click browse, use the open window to locate the first folder that contains the file you want. Select a file (press and hold CTRL to select multiple files) and click ADD. The file names are added to the Files to combine list box.

4. Repeat step 3 to locate and add multiple files to be a part of the PDF.
5. Reorganize the files in the Files to Combine list box in the order you want them.
6. When finished click OK, in the Save As dialog box, locate the folder where you want the file located. Click Save.

Create PDF's by dragging
 
1. Start Acrobat
2. Click the start button, right click My Computer and click Explore.  
3. If necessary click Folders ont he toolbar to display the folders pane on the left side of the explorer window.
4. Use the drive and folder hierarchy in the folders pane to find the folder in which the files you want to convert are located. Click the folder to display it's files in the contents pane, located to the right of the folders pane.
5. Drag files from explorer to the Acrobat window.


Tip: You can drag files to the Acrobat shortcut on your desktop when Acrobat is not started. the files are stored in a queue and the next time you start Acrobat, they will be converted and opened.
