Creating Links

1. First highlight the text that you want to turn into a link.

2. Then go to Properties at the bottom of the page and in the link box enter the web address to the site that you want to link to or if you want to link to an internal page like index.html then you can either type in index.html or use the little wheel next to the box and drag it to whatever file you want to link to. You can also do this by going to Insert-Hyperlink and entering the info. The same process goes for images as well just make sure you have the image selected.

Linking to Adobe PDF Files

To display or link to .pdf files is as simple as linking to any other file. Simply hightlight the text or image you want to be the link and in the Properties Inspector, enter the link (URL) of the .pdf file. Acrobat will automatically launch and display the file.
You can also specify the Target so that the .pdf document opens in the same window or a separate window just like you do any other HTML page.

If you prefer to have the .pdf file saved to the viewers hard drive rather than opening up in the Browser, you'll need to Zip it (using WiniZip) or StuffIt (using Stuffit).
