To capture your screen press print screen on your keyboard and go to an image editor for example in photoshop elements click File > New > Image from Clipboard and your image will appear in the window. If you don't have photoshop go to your graphics program and paste the image into a blank document or if your program has a clipboard menu option choose that and your snapshot should pop-up on the window. From here you can resize it or add text or graphics to it.
Note: your print screen will only work if you have a printer and it's drivers installed on your computer.
You can also use software programs to do this which is what I use. I downloaded capture edit from sourceforge.net which is a free open source software site. It allows you to crop as your taking the snapshot.
